  • At this time, all sessions are virtual through a HIPPA compliant video platform.

  • Sessions are 45-50 minutes. In the case of some EMDR sessions, we may meet for up to 1 hour and we will discuss this in advance.

  • Consistency is an important aspect of therapy and in connecting to your therapist. Therefore, weekly session are recommended at the onset and once you feel you have moved towards reaching your goals in therapy, we may discuss decreasing the frequency.

  • A session costs $250. In some instances, a decreased fee may be accommodated, so please feel free to ask.

  • Shuzman Therapy is not in network with any insurance. You will be provided with superbills for you to submit to your insurance for reimbursement based on your insurance plan if you have out of network coverage.

  • During our consultation call, we can try to access this information. If we are unable to, you can call you insurance company and ask if you have out of network coverage for mental health treatment. They can provide you with information about your deductible and reimbursement rate.

  • Shuzman Therapy has partnered with Reimbursify to make submitting out of network receipts and receiving reimbursement from your insurance company easier. Submit receipts through the Reimbursify app or through Reimbursify.com. If you would prefer, you can also submit the superbills directly to your insurance.

  • If you need to cancel your session, please do so at least 48 hours before the session begins. If you cancel with less time, you will be charged the fee of the full session. If we are able to reschedule the session within that week, you will not be charged the cancellation fee.

  • The cost is $200/session. We can discuss your goals for supervision and each session will be individualized to meet your needs.
